Dr. JM Paolicchi, pediatric epileptologist, joins the Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group (NEREG) in New Jersey
Dr. JM Paolicchi, pediatric epileptologist, joins the Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group (NEREG) in New Jersey as the Director of Pediatric Epilepsy at Overlook Hospital and Co-Director of Pediatric Epilepsy Research, Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group
Bringing extensive experience to her new position, Dr. Paolicchi treats newborn to 21 years old patients and will be actively involved in diagnosis and treatment of diverse epileptic syndromes and seizure types in our Hackensack, Summit, Manhattan, and Middletown NY offices.
Dr. Paolicchi earned her MD degree at Johns Hopkins University Medical School, Baltimore, MD as well as a Master Degree, Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University Medical School. Her training includes an Internship at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, her Residency at Harvard- Longwood Neurology Training Program and Boston Children's Hospital. She completed her fellowship in epilepsy at the Miami Children's Hospital.
She holds Board Certifications from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology - Child Neurology, the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology - Clinical Neurophysiology, and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology - Epilepsy.
She is also Professor of Child Neurology, Child Neurology Association and Fellow, American Neurology Association. Her research interests include: epilepsy surgery, clinical trials for new epilepsy Therapies, and genetic epilepsy syndromes
