All year long, the Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group promotes epilepsy education for patients, their caregivers, medical treatment staff, and the general public. Team Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group participates in several epilepsy walks and many different fundraising activities that directly benefit the national or local epilepsy foundations and advocacy societies. Let's use all 30 days of November to shine a light on epilepsy and seizures and to educate all who will listen.

Did you know that 1 in 26 people will be diagnosed with epilepsy at some point in their lifetime?  Probably a majority of people you mention this to don't know this important statistic. There are many other equally significant facts to share this month.
