2010 Walk for a Brighter Tomorrow Benefiting the The Family Resource Network.

The (FRN) is dedicated to offering individuals and their families with continuing needs the greatest opportunities, resources and services to support a full and happy life.
Introduced in September 2004, The Family Resource Network is a comprehensive family-focused human service organization. It was created as a result of the Epilepsy Foundation of New Jersey's tremendous growth in serving a broad spectrum of disabilities. Core services provided by FRN are after-school care, employment, information and referral, in home respite, legislative advocacy, and recreation/socialization.
The Family Resource Network is comprised of four affiliate organizations including: Autism Family Services of New Jersey, Caregivers of New Jersey, the Epilepsy Foundation of New Jersey, and the Family Support Center of New Jersey.
By supporting Walk for a Brighter Tomorrow, you will enable The Family Resource Network to continue to provide and expand its menu of services and make an impact on the lives of many.
The Walk for a Brighter Tomorrow is a fun filled 5K Family Walk. Walkers will have an opportunity to take photos with celebrity mascots, engage in interactive booths and receive free admission to the Family Fun Day. Most importantly, it is an opportunity to spend time with family and friends to raise much needed funds for a worthwhile cause.
When: October 10, 2010
The Walk will take place at Roosevelt Park in Edison, New Jersey. Registration will take place from 11AM-12PM, and the Walk will begin promptly at 12PM. Walk for a Brighter Tomorrow will take place Rain or Shine!
Immediately following the event, all registered walkers will be invited to participate in the Family Fun Day free of charge. Activities will include, a light lunch, refreshments, face painting, moonbounce, sports clinics and much more!

Sara’s 5thAnnual Walk for Epilepsy & Sara’s 5K Sprint for Epilepsy 
Sara-Elizabeth (www.itsnotwhoiam.com), now seizure-free, had her first seizure when she was 16 months old. Throughout her young life, Sara experienced both tonic clonic and partial complex uncontrollable seizures. Four years ago, Sara-Elizabeth, now 15-years-old, and a New Paltz High School student, turned her focus outward and organized this annual event as a way to create awareness of the disease.
This year, Epilepsy Life Links, a branch of the Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group, will have a “Sneakers for Seizures” team.
