Epilepsy Types

Generalized epilepsy:
• Composed by generalized seizures (i.e. absence, myoclonic or/and generalized tonic-clonic seizures)
• There could be one or more types of generalized seizures (but not partial seizures)

Partial epilepsy:
• Also called “localization-related epilepsy”
• It is composed by partial seizures (i.e. simple partial, complex partial and secondary generalized tonic-clonic seizures)
