Work
In today’s world, most people speak about themselves in terms of what they “do.” Their job identifies who they are: “I am a….carpenter, nurse, bus driver, teacher, hairdresser, etc.” If you are not working because seizures are holding you back or your present job is less than you would have hoped for, you may feel that you can’t describe yourself the way that others do. Seizures could have had an impact on your career depending on when they began in your lifetime but there is a bigger picture and there are always alternatives to consider.
