Environmental temperature

Sudden changes in temperature can lead to seizures in some kinds of epilepsy. Dravet’s syndrome is an example of this.

Special care must be taken when moving from one temperature to another (for example, leaving a warm bathtub to dry in the colder bathroom) in order to avoid triggering a seizure.
