Walk for a Brighter Tomorrow!

Walk for a Brighter Tomorrow!

Did you know:
1. An estimated 1.2 million individuals with developmental disabilities live in New Jersey
2. Autism Spectrum Disorder occurs 1 in every 94 births in New Jersey
3. There are an estimated 1.06 million family caregivers in New Jersey alone
4. Epilepsy is equal in prevalence to cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease combined
In light of this extensive population, and the amazing services provided by The Family Resource Network Kim Politsky decided to sign up our Epilepsy Life Links-Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group Team. Help us reach our goal by contributing to the cause. Each donation makes a difference, and anything you can do to support us in this would be a terrific help.
When: Sunday, May 16, 2010: Walker Check-In 11AM-12PM, Walk Begins 12PM
Where: Seaside Park, New Jersey

To donate, you can make your contribution online at our walk website www.walkforabrightertomorrow.org. We would really appreciate it if you could tell anyone else whom might be interested in contributing or participating in the walk.
Proceeds from the walk will support the programs and services of The Family Resource Network and its four affiliates: Autism Family Services of NJ, Caregivers of NJ, the Epilepsy Foundation of NJ, and the Family Support Center of NJ. These groups provide services such as after-school care, information and referral, respite care and recreation and socialization opportunities for those with epilepsy, autism, developmental disabilities and chronic illness.
